That's not the Arctic that I know

I am shocked and dismayed that perhaps the most important find to argue against man-made global warming has escaped this site. I have waited for someone with better linguistic skills than me to report on this, however, I cannot wait any longer. Is RedState part of the conspiracy to squash anti-global warming rhetoric because the presumptive nominee, (heh, Maverick), believes wholeheartedly in AGW? Not sure, however, I’m presuming he doesn’t believe in Science since Scientists made up only 15 percent of the global warming proponents. The remaining 85 percent included politicians, celebrities, other journalists and even ordinary men and women. There were more unidentified interview subjects used to support climate change hype than actual scientists (101 unidentified to just 71 scientists). And let’s not forget that real scientists cannot get any traction with the media and therefore, the American people being brainwashed into believing in this scam. There's more....
I digress. Back to the original story: So there seems to be volcanic activity in an area where everyone thought it was impossible. Scientists are baffled at how a volcano is able to erupt with such ferocity at such an extreme depth. In fact, according to the AFP report,
The eruptions -- as big as the one that buried Pompei -- took place in 1999 along the Gakkel Ridge, an underwater mountain chain snaking 1,800 kilometres (1,100 miles) from the northern tip of Greenland to Siberia.
Why is this significant? Because volcanoes are the key to Earth’s oxygen atmosphere . According to this report,
The ancient Earth should have had an oxygen atmosphere but something was converting, reducing, the oxygen and removing it from the atmosphere. The researchers suggest that submarine volcanoes, producing a reducing mixture of gases and lavas, effectively scrubbed oxygen from the atmosphere, binding it into oxygen containing minerals.
Finding these volcanoes in the arctic explain why researchers seem to think that the arctic ice is melting. I was always taught that heat and gases (with the exception of those heavier than air) rises, and if these volcanoes erupted with such force, then the heat and associated CO2 would have contributed greatly to the demise of the arctic sea ice.
Of far greater importance than this finding, however, is the incredulousness researchers are exhibiting that they have made this find. In various articles, the general consensus is that these volcanoes are IMPOSSIBLE. That means that no one has ever thought to look outside the AGW paradigm which points to fear mongering rather than true science. Do we really want our future energy and tax policies dictated by faulty science and people that have personal agendas?
The idiocy of AGW is further amplified by this article . We have been told time and again that the polar bear will become extinct because of shrinking ice.
Some scientists predict polar bears could become extinct within the next century because they have adapted over the millennia to only hunting on ice. If they try to swim in disappearing ice conditions to catch seals, more are likely to tire and drown, scientists say. Polar bears that stay onshore aren't adapted to hunting land animals like caribou, which are preyed upon by more-aggressive grizzly bears. Polar bears also require more fat intake than most food on land offers them, experts say.
If this is the case, then someone needs to tell the polar bears this . What’s remarkable is the lack of logic proponents of AGW use. For instance, in this article , we have a senior scientist with a PHD telling us,
Polar bears feed almost entirely on seals. The seals come up out of the water into the breathing holes that are formed in the ice and it is there that the polar bears are able to capture the seals. In open water, without ice, a polar bear is not able to capture a seal. So without sea ice, there's no way to feed and then there is no polar bears.
Oh yeah, and this is based upon him “seeing 40 polar bears in the wild.” Folks, I have seen numerous cows, birds, and fish and there environment and will cede that the number is well in excess of 40, I am by no means an expert on any. Even if I were to believe this gentleman, the scientific findings regarding seals and walruses contradict his statement. Walruses and seals are mammals and must come out of the water daily. They also graze in shallow waters which can be readily found along shorelines. Polar bears are extreme hunters and they have proven throughout history they are the supreme predator, living in an environment that only a few can go. It’s only a matter of time before the bears relocate to these areas where the seals and walruses are hauling themselves out of water. Just because there is ice does not mean a polar bear will be successful. He must still navigate a cold, bleak, uninhabited void in search of food that he cannot see. I think we will see them following the walrus and seal herds to shore and maintain their population
So there you have it folks. I apologize for not being gifted with better writing skills, however, fortunately I was gifted with critical thinking skills and employ them in all aspects of my life. Any scientist that claims they are experts on climatology has a lot of explaining to do regarding these new findings and should go back and do a lot more research before they open their mouths again. Unfortunately, it appears that the presumptive Republican nominee lacks critical thinking skills and is attempting to drive the herd over the AGW cliff in an effort to appease the academic and social elite.
What's that? Oh yeah, "Calm down, little jerk."
Good luck in November.

Diary from last week on this topic, here.

Is RedState part of the conspiracy to squash anti-global warming rhetoric...
No. While John McCain is hardly everyone's darling hereabouts, most have determined he's a better choice than the alternative, regardless of his positions on AGW, immmigration and so on. Regardless, folks are certainly not silent on this particular topic because of his stance.
Your profile says you've been here for nearly 6 months and yet you presume some kind of conspiratorial silence on the topic.
I find it hard to reconcile your statement with anyone actually familiar with this site and yet your posting history goes all the way back to January. Do you just not visit very often? You seem unaware that AGW scam/fraud posts regularly get excellent Front Page and Recommended list exposure on RS. At times as many as 5 or 6 of the top ten were on this topic.
Now, it has been quiet the last few weeks, but look at the many Anti-AGW blogs of Joliphant, Skanderbeg and even some of mine.
A simpler, less nefarious, explanation for the lack of an article on the eruptions is that folks are on vacation or just writing about more relevant (on an immediate urgency basis) topics.
Thanks for bringing up the article. I had not heard of it. It does reinforce even further that real science is being excluded in pursuit of a political agenda.
