Yet Another Flip-Flop On Trade

The Obama campaign said today that it will not try to unilaterally re-open negotiations regarding NAFTA:

Of course, in February of this year, Obama said something entirely different:

One wonders what America's trading partners think about all of this--beyond "America's word will not be trusted" if such double-talk actually finds its way to becoming policy.

We are now so sensitive that we say "flip-flop" instead of "bald-faced lie."

Isn't that special?

Uh, RNC or McCain campaign? Anyone home?

Now might be a good time to actually start DEFINING OBAMA as the serial liar that he is rather than letting him show more ads of him hugging old white women..

"Small town folks get bitter after which they cling to guns or religion, or antipathy to people who aren't like them, or anti-immigrant sentiment"- Barack Carter Obama

...that is why I am so discouraged by this McCain candidacy.

Sorry, on another thread you suggested that Huckabee was a good choice.

I,therefore, would suggest that you are NOT more conservative than anyone.

I would suggest that you're an anti-McCain Pro-Huckabee individual that places things other than strict conservativism on your plate.

if I hadn't of seen that other post of yours, I wouldn't have said anything here.

but, saddly, I did

Dependence is Slavery.

How can McCain win our support (the hard right)? Remember it was the hard right that pounded the pavement and rallied the churches to win for conservatives for decades. Sure we will vote McCain (what choice is there?) but we will NOT pound the pavement for him. I'm sorry but who will McCain appoint to the court? that is a concern I would not have with Huck. just being honest.

Ahh, but if you REALLY were the 'most conservative person here' then you would be equally disgusted with Huckabee's lack of a backbone when it came to keeping the liberals from Arkansas in their place.

You would be, instead, at LEAST pining away for Hunter or Thompson as I am.

I say, at least, because I am fairly conservative and I prefer them to Huckabee, and you're claming to be even MORE conservative.

Or, of course, you could be yet another troll trying to sow seeds of discord so that you can link to it on another site as an example of conservative infighting.

Also, please keep in mind, no one has ever confused me for a big McCain supporter.

But at least I am honest.

Survey says, 9 out of 10 rational people are discouraged by you.

NObama...no way!.....McCain '08 !

he's apparently into size...

I put the over at 30 minutes

The Minority Report

In that he first said he would, told the Canadians he wouldn't , when found out he fired the man who conveyed his position pledging he would, now he is back to not doing it.

If questioned I am sure he will just develop a craving for waffles again.

The defining slogan of his campaign will be, "Yes, but then again no," not "Hope we can Change for, and Change we can Hope for." For more explanation on this, watch The Dark Horse, an old movie starring Bette Davis.

Not much difference between the two parties these days on trade.

another flip flop.... by rsfan previously jojoe

.. from Obama. Like I am surprised

Change of mind on every issue. So far it's been:
NAFTA
Iran's Revolutionary Guards
Talking without Preconditions
Jerusalem
Gun Control/DC Ban
Public Funding

Am I missing anything? I feel like I am.
